TERMS

The terms this site is provided under, and how project work is governed.

22 August 2026

This is a working draft prepared during the build. It must be reviewed by a legal practitioner before launch.

This site

The content of this site is provided for information. Case study figures describe past engagements and are not a promise of comparable results. Prices shown are starting points, not quotations.

Project work

Engagements are governed by a written scope and a fixed price agreed before work begins. The price changes only when the scope changes in writing, signed by both parties.

Ownership

On final payment, you own the source code, the content and the deliverables outright, without licence conditions. The repository is created in your organisation at the start of the project, not transferred at the end. Third-party dependencies remain under their own open-source licences.

Warranty

Defects in delivered work that fall inside the agreed scope are fixed at no cost for thirty days after handover. Beyond that, changes are quoted as new work or drawn from a retainer.

Liability

Liability is limited to the fees paid for the engagement in question. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
